It’s unclear whether Hypnotic Pattern performs at nighttime. As penned, it would be up in your DM to make a decision. Individually, I'd personally rule which the Hypnotic Pattern is produced of light as it's an illusion and would, for that reason, be noticeable in the dead of night.
